Olatunde Olateju Olaolorun “O-T” Fagbenle is an English actor, writer, and director known for his versatility across theatre, film, and television. He gained global recognition for his portrayal of Luke Bankole in The Handmaid’s Tale (2017–2025), a role that earned him an Emmy nomination, and for playing Barack Obama in The First Lady (2022).

Fagbenle began acting at the age of 14 with Ritual Theatre Arts, where he took on the lead role in a modern adaptation of Macbeth that was performed internationally, including at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre. After training at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, he made his professional debut in Les Blancs (2001) at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester and originated the role of Perry in Fallout at the Royal Court Theatre.
